Matilda Lindström on Turussa työskentelevä, suomenruotsalainen, esitystaiteilija, näyttelijä ja koreografi, jonka taiteellinen työ pohjautuu fyysiseen teatteriin, liikkeeseen ja keholliseen tarinankerrontaan. Hän työskentelee monitaiteisesti teatterin, akrobatian, tanssin ja esitystaiteen rajapinnoilla sekä Suomessa että kansainvälisesti. Lindström on esiintynyt niin kiertävässä lasten- ja nuortenteatterissa, festivaaleilla kuin kokeellisissa esityskonteksteissa, ja hänen teoksensa tutkivat kehon, äänen ja kokemuksen välistä suhdetta. Taiteellisen työnsä rinnalla hän toimii fyysisen teatterin, akrobatian ja liikepedagogiikan opettajana, ja on sitoutunut yhteisölähtöiseen ja osallistavaan taiteelliseen työskentelyyn.

Matilda Lindström is a Turku-based, finnish-swedish speaking, performing artist, actor and choreographer working at the intersection of physical theatre, movement and contemporary performance. Her work is rooted in embodied storytelling and explores the relationship between body, voice and lived experience. She has performed in a wide range of contexts, from touring children’s theatre and international festivals to experimental and interdisciplinary projects in Finland and abroad. Alongside her artistic practice, she works as a teacher of physical theatre, acrobatics and movement, and is deeply interested in sharing creative, body-based tools through community-oriented and educational work.
